Community Outreach

Applied^® associates help shape the communities in which we work and reside not only by providing superior service to our customers but by taking an active role in our community. Striking the right balance of work and fun is just part of who we are as a company. Applied associates know they are valued for both their work contributions and their charitable, involvement-type contributions. While the show of support for our communities and fellow associates is quite visible; we don't call attention to it. We take time to help our communities, raise money for charity and assist our local neighbors in times of need because it's the right thing to do. And when national events have occurred, such as Hurricane Katrina, our company has come together in support of our fellow Americans.

On a Corporate level, Applied supports the Red Cross, United Way and March of Dimes, to name a few. Local philanthropic efforts include sponsorship of community hunger banks, tutoring programs at elementary schools, volunteering with the Salvation Army, and participating in Boys and Girls Club of America and Habitat for Humanity, among others.
