Rafael Benitez Carrillo, Inc. was founded as a family business in 1934 during the depression with the idea of selling high quality products to the sugar industry, established in Puerto Rico at that time.  By 1955 the business was flourishing and it was incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

To better serve our customers we have two facilities in Puerto Rico, our main offices and warehouse in Miramar, San Juan since 1953 and a Ponce branch since 1968 .

We are the main suppliers of Power Transmission Products in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, with products such as, chain, belts, v-belts, motors, reducers, seals, bearings of various types and lubricants and brands like SKF, Torrington, Timken, US Motor, Reliance, Dodge, Goodyear, etc.

In October 1998, we became a wholly owned subsidiary of Applied Industrial Technologies.  Because “Service” is our main product, we now have access to one the biggest and most complete inventories of industrial parts in the U.S. to better serve you.
