Highlighted Products
Garlock 06DU08 - Self-Lubricating Bushings
DU bearings combine the advantages of many conventionally lubricated, metallic plain bearings-particularly high load capacity and dimensional rigidity-with the design freedoms of self-lubricating materials, including the ability to operate successfully well beyond the scope of conventional lubricants.
Symmco SF-1216-16 - SAE 841 Sintered Bronze Oil-Impregnated Sleeve Bearing
SAE 841 sintered bronze oil-impregnated sleeve bearings offer superior strength and reduced coefficient of friction, and provide uniform oil coating of the mating shaft during operation. Traditional casting and machining methods involve costly significant maching operations that waste both material and energy. Powder metallurgy alleviates that problem by combining a variety of raw materials specifically configured by an engineer to control mechanical and magnetic properties. The powder metal is compacted in a die then sintered at high temperatures in a controlled atmosphere to form a solid. It is especially useful in making parts that have irregular curves or recesses.
