November 18, 2009 - Applied Industrial Technologies has received numerous reports of a fraudulent e-mail that has the appearance of being sent from Applied Industrial Technologies.
The e-mail inquires about phony charges from Applied Industrial Technologies. The e-mail tells recipients that, "If you dispute the claim, then click on the attachment to install the Transaction Inspection Model.”
This e-mail and associated Web site are fraudulent. Recipients should consider the intent of this e-mail as harmful.
Recipients should NOT follow the link in the fraudulent e-mail.
