History
In 1981, Dees Corporation acquired the Louis H. Hein Company. Louis H. Hein Company was a premiere distributor in the Philadelphia, PA area and manufacturer of bearing lubrication systems, gear sprays and hydraulic EHC systems to the power generation and aggregate industries. Many of these systems are found on equipment with ball mills in coal-fired power plants and on the F. L. Schmidt and Fuller Company OEM equipment.
Dees Corporation was acquired by Applied Industrial Technologies in 1995 and is now known as Dees Fluid Power. Dees Fluid Power is a division of Applied Industrial Technologies, a $2.1 billion MRO provider and resource for product technologies, such as fluid power, power transmission, bearings, industrial rubber products, linear technologies and maintenance supplies.
